$27,732,175 CARES Supplemental Funding Awarded to Missouri Health Centers

Attention Missouri Health Centers:

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), has awarded more than $1.3 billion to Health Centers across the county, as part of a historic U.S. response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

This funding is in addition to the $100 million awarded two weeks ago.

HRSA-funded health centers may use the awards to help communities across the country detect coronavirus; prevent, diagnose, and treat COVID-19; and maintain or increase health capacity and staffing levels to address this public health emergency.

Technical Assistance for COVID-19 and CARES Supplemental Funding for Health Centers

To better meet your needs, HRSA will answer questions about both coronavirus-related supplements in several upcoming question and answer (Q&A) sessions. These sessions will support health centers in developing their COVID-19 and CARES activities and budgets. Additional technical assistance (TA) is available on the FY 2020 CARES Supplemental Funding for Health Centers TA webpage and the        FY 2020 COVID-19 Supplemental Funding for Health Centers TA webpage.

The COVID-19 (H8C) and CARES (H8D) awards are separate grants from the H80 operational award. This webpage describes how award recipients can add the H8C and H8D grant folder to their HRSA Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) portfolio.  Join one of the following question and answer sessions to learn more about the supplemental funding.
