One Month to Submit RHC, CAH Conference Presentations

NRHA is now accepting presentation proposals for our Rural Health Clinic and Critical Access Hospital Conferences. The goal of NRHA’s Rural Health Clinic and Critical Access Hospital Conferences is to share effective practices, policies, and information and provide insights and best practices addressing many of the access, quality, and patient safety issues confronted by CAHs and RHCs. Five interest tracks are available for CAH Conference submissions: innovation, financial, leadership, quality, and best practices. This year’s events will be held Sept. 26-29 in Kansas City, Mo., NRHA’s hometown. The deadline for submissions is May 31.

New Virtual Option for Annual NRHA Conference

NRHA’s 46th Annual Rural Health Conference events, May 15-19 in San Diego, Calif., cover the needs of all rural health stakeholders from hospital leaders to health educators, with an overarching goal of health equity for all.

Be sure to act by April 17 to save hundreds on registration and hotel for the nation’s largest gathering of rural health professionals. The hotel block is filling up fast and will sell out before that date.

NRHA is offering an on off-site, virtual registration option that includes access to 46 sessions of recorded content across all events available for viewing the day after it occurs on the agenda. No sessions will be livestreamed during this event, but recordings of sessions noted in green within each agenda will be available to view through Aug. 16.

Registration for the in-person Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) inaugural Health Equity Conference is now open. The conference will serve as an opportunity to gain invaluable insights and a better understanding of disparities that exist from leading experts in the field. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with peers, build relationships, and share research, best practices, and initiatives that are reducing disparities in CMS programs and increasing equity for underserved populations and gain the skills necessary to effectively address them moving forward.

The 2023 Missouri Immunization Conference brings together bright minds to give talks that are action-oriented on a wide range of subjects related to immunizations to foster learning and inspiration, as well as provoke conversations that matter and actions that lead to increased vaccination rates for Missourians. The theme of this year’s conference is Vaccines: The Building Blocks of Better Health.

  • Self-report increased confidence in their ability to advocate for vaccinations against preventable diseases
  • Self-report an increase in knowledge about evidence-based strategies designed to address vaccine hesitancy, and combat misinformation

NOSORH invites you to submit your proposal(s) to present rural innovations, research findings, model programs, resources, and projects to help SORH build partnerships and address the needs of rural communities to prepare for the future.
