Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

About 15 million of an estimated 48 million eligible households are enrolled in the Affordable Connectivity Program. Rural Americans benefit the most from telehealth, yet enrollment in urban states appears to be doing better than in rural states.

The Notice of Funding Opportunity for Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) outreach grants will fund community organizations to publicize the program and create ACP navigators to help with enrollment. This is very important for rural areas.

On Monday, December 5th, at 3:00 pm ET, the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) and the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) will host a virtual event to discuss new funding for telehealth and broadband access.

Speakers

Miriam Montgomery, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Grants Management and Policy Advisor

Dr. William England, Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Office for the Advancement of Telehealth (OAT)
