Tips for Completing the Clinician Recruitment and Retention Plan

• All National Health Service Corps (NHSC) sites must develop and maintain a Clinician Recruitment and Retention Plan to help ensure a viable NHSC-approved site.

• Applicant sites submit a Clinician Recruitment and Retention Plan as part of their NHSC site application.

• The plan must clearly state the policies and processes that a site will use to recruit and maintain clinical staffing levels needed to appropriately serve the community, and should contain specific strategies aimed at promoting clinician resiliency and reducing burnout.
• Contact your state lead for a Clinician Recruitment and Retention Guide to help develop your plan.

Reminder: The deadline to submit is Tuesday, June 7 at 11:59 PM ET. NHSC encourages you to submit early in case you run into any technical issues.
