Description: This engaging session is perfect to get the conversation started around what diversity and inclusion is and why it is important in the workplace. Learn what strategies can be used to create a more inclusive organization. Designed to help organizations build capacity to increase awareness about, and develop strategies for, a more diverse and inclusive environment. This session touches on biases, microaggressions and other facets of diversity and inclusion. We’ll also go over and explain the difference between diversity and inclusion and address various aspects of identity including: race, religion, ability status, sexual orientation, gender identity, and age.
