Weitzman ECHO Alcohol & Smoking By Popular Demand – Second Cohort Now Enrolling

Weitzman ECHO Alcohol & Smoking is back and registration is now open at no cost!  The Weitzman Institute, in collaboration with the National Council for Behavioral Health, is offering a 5-month learning program on two of America’s major silent killers: alcohol and smoking.

This ECHO equips PCPs and behavioral health providers with strategies for addressing problematic alcohol and tobacco use in their patients using an integrated approach. We cover topics including advanced strategies for motivational interviewing, epidemiology and screening, medication assisted treatment, and trauma-informed care.

Sessions will be held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from 11AM – 12PM ET/8AM – 9AM PT beginning on September 18.
