By December, Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) staff will pilot the virtual site visit process as an alternate method to conduct site visits to deemed health centers, in response to the global pandemic and the associated travel restrictions. The virtual site visit process will support HRSA’s ability to provide operational oversight of FTCA program compliance.
Selected health centers will be contacted by FTCA staff for a pre-site visit readiness assessment call. Discussions will include virtual site visit expectations, technological capabilities, document reviews, and other requirements.
