- Nearly 29,000 nurses practice at HRSA-funded health centers in rural, urban, and underserved areas and handle more than 28 million patient visits each year.
- More than 5,200 National Health Service Corps and Nurse Corps nurses provide care to approximately 5.5 million Americans.
