HHS awarded nearly $583 million to 1,385 health centers in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and eight U.S. territories to expand COVID-19 testing. HHS Secretary Alex Azar and HRSA Administrator Tom Engels thanked health centers for all they’re doing during the pandemic and announced the funding during last Thursday’s Flattening the Curve call, hosted by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), a HRSA-funded National Cooperative Agreement (NCA).
