2024 Rural Resilience Lecture Series – May 28

Community Health Engagement and Outreach invites you to the 2024 summer Rural Resilience Lecture Series.

The first lecture in the series will focus on tobacco/nicotine and vaping with guest lecturers Dr. Li-Shiun Chen, Washington University School of Medicine’s Professor Psychiatry and Christy Inskip, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services’ Youth Tobacco Use Prevention Specialist discussing the interconnection between tobacco/nicotine use prevention and resilience.

The goal of the series is to increase capacity for professionals and community-based organizations serving rural or marginalized communities to be responsive to behavioral health and substance misuse needs and provide prevention and resilience education to youth, adults and communities.
