CMS Resource Documents – Understanding and Using New Payment Codes
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released two new resources to assist providers and stakeholders in understanding and using new payment codes.
- CMS Manual System
- Provides instructions for the new codes for Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), and Mental Health Counselors (MHCs)
- Health Equity Services in the 2024 Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule
- The Medicare Learning Network provides an overview and use of codes related to Caregiver Training Services, Community Health Integration (CHI) and Principal Inness Navigation (PIN)
